How much GP Mix will I need?
Dry mortar coverage is approximately 1.6kg per mm of thickness per m².
The stated mixed-product requirement is approximately 26kg/m² at a finished thickness of 16mm.
Allow for wastage and variations in the substrate when calculating quantities.
How much water should I add to a 25kg bag?
For hand application, add 4–5 litres of clean water per 25kg bag.
Mix with a drill and whisk or tumble mixer for five minutes, leave to stand for five minutes, then mix again for a further two to three minutes.
How should I prepare the surface before application?
The substrate must be clean, sound and free from material that could reduce adhesion.
Check its condition before starting and follow the product’s application instructions.
What weather conditions are suitable for applying GP Mix?
