Our history

We are a family run Builders Providers and Hardware Store serving both the professional and DIY enthusiast. We are a 6th generation of Rogers Family in Business since 1870. Our longevity can be primarily attributed to the ongoing support of the local community and our staff’s dedication to providing exceptional advice, value and service to our valued customers. We are always willing to go the extra mile and we believe our loyal base of customers are a good testament to that.

On 9th–10th May 2025, we celebrated 155 years in business. Hugh Wallace, architect and TV personality from RTÉ’s The Great House Revival and Home of the Year, Martin Markey, CEO of the Hardware Association of Ireland, Barry McCarron, Managing Director of KORE Retrofit, and Catherine Gasquet, Dulux Colour Consultant, attended the celebration and gave presentations on home building, design, and how best to maximise grants for derelict properties.

We also are involved in everything that is good for the community, from Christmas lights to local drama, from GAA to local golf clubs. We help and support any events that benefits the town or the local surroundings.
