Frenchic Frenshimmer Metallic Embellishment Paint is a ready-to-use, water-based decorative paint designed to add a lustrous metallic finish to furniture and decorative projects.
Its smooth, densely pigmented formula is ideal for highlighting handles, mouldings, trims, edges and decorative details.
Frenshimmer can also be applied using stencils or masking tape to create individual designs and metallic accents.
Suitable for interior and exterior projects, Frenshimmer can be used on appropriately prepared wood, laminate, metal, concrete, glass and other compatible surfaces.
It can also be used on suitable fixed leather surfaces, such as decorative desk or tabletop coverings, subject to correct preparation.
Available in five metallic colours, which can be mixed together to create customised decorative finishes.
Unlike Frenchic Frensheen metallic powders, Frenshimmer is a ready-to-use paint and does not need to be mixed with a separate finishing product before application.

Coverage
A 100ml pot provides coverage of up to 1m² per coat, depending on the surface and application method.
Actual coverage will vary according to surface porosity, texture, preparation and application thickness.
Additional coats may be required to achieve the desired depth of metallic colour and finish.
Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, sound and free from grease, wax, loose paint and other contaminants before application.
Remove loose or flaking coatings from previously painted surfaces.
Clean the surface thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before painting.
Sand or abrade smooth surfaces where appropriate to provide a suitable key for paint adhesion.
Remove sanding dust before applying Frenshimmer.
Some surfaces, including metal, glass and laminate, may require additional preparation or priming according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Test the paint on a small, inconspicuous area before applying it to unfamiliar or previously treated surfaces.
Application and Drying
Stir Frenshimmer thoroughly before each use to distribute the metallic pigments evenly.
Apply using a good-quality brush suitable for decorative painting.
Use smooth, even brush strokes to achieve the desired metallic appearance.
For detailed designs, apply carefully to handles, mouldings, edges or prepared stencil areas.
Allow a minimum of 1 hour between coats, depending on temperature, humidity and application conditions.
Apply additional coats where necessary to achieve the desired depth of colour and metallic effect.
Avoid excessive application or repeatedly brushing over paint as it begins to dry.
Allow the finished surface sufficient drying time before handling or returning it to normal use.
Care and Maintenance
