Choosing the Right Frenchic Flat Brush
Choose the 30mm Flat Brush for detailed work where precision and access to narrow areas are important.
Its narrower head is particularly useful for chair painting, mouldings, furniture edges and smaller decorative surfaces.
Choose the 50mm Flat Brush for larger painting projects where a wider brush can cover more surface area with each stroke.
The wider brush is useful for furniture panels, cupboard doors and broader sections of woodwork.
How to Use Frenchic Flat Brushes
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and suitably prepared before painting.
Stir your chosen Frenchic paint thoroughly according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Load the brush with a suitable amount of paint, avoiding excessive application.
Apply using smooth, controlled strokes to distribute the paint evenly.
For detailed areas, use the narrower edge of the brush to work around corners, edges and decorative features.
Avoid repeatedly brushing over paint as it begins to dry, particularly when using self-levelling paint formulations.
Allow each coat to dry according to the instructions for the selected paint.
Cleaning and Storage
Clean the brush promptly after use to prevent paint from drying in the bristles.
For compatible water-based paints, wash using warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
For other paint formulations, follow the cleaning instructions provided by the paint manufacturer.
Gently reshape the bristles after cleaning.
Allow the brush to dry thoroughly before storing.
Store in a clean, dry location, preferably hanging or positioned to avoid damaging the bristles.
