Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 72" cabinet better suited to a fixed workshop setup?
Yes. Although the cabinet is mobile, its size and potential loaded weight make it best suited to a permanent or semi-permanent position in a workshop, with the castors mainly used for occasional repositioning.
What should I consider before delivery?
Check the full access route from the delivery point to the final workshop position, including gates, doorways, ramps and floor surfaces.
Allow enough room to manoeuvre the cabinet safely into place.
How should I distribute heavy tools inside the cabinet?
Where practical, place heavier tools in the lower drawers and lighter or frequently used items higher up.
This helps keep the cabinet stable and makes everyday access easier.
Can I use the hardwood top for everyday workshop jobs?
Yes, it provides a useful surface for general workshop tasks. For cutting, welding, heavy hammering or work involving chemicals, use suitable protection or a dedicated work surface.
Is this cabinet suitable for a shared or commercial workshop?
Yes. The large storage capacity, lockable design and durable construction make it well suited to busy garages, maintenance areas and shared commercial workshops.
How can I protect the cabinet and worktop over time?
Keep the castors and drawer runners free from dirt, wipe up spills promptly, avoid harsh abrasive cleaners and use a protective mat on the hardwood top for oily, sharp or particularly dirty jobs.
