We have two models of composite decking available – the Portland range and also the Ultrashield range. These have a great range of colour tones available and both models are reversible. They typically have a wood grain effect or grooves on one side and are smooth on the other so you can decide what style suits you best when buying.

Ultrashield range information:

Ultrashield composite decking is a game changer as it is the most durable and arguably the most attractive composite deck board available in Ireland. Years of engineering and countless hours of field-testing has yielded a product of unmatched performance and beauty. UltraShield combines the proven strength of high density polyethylene plastic and wood fibre with an outer shell of polymer that completely encapsulates the board in an impermeable layer of protection that provides scratch, stain and fade resistance

Ultrashield has a 25 year unlimited warranty.

‘Capping’ information:

Making the board capped over 360 degrees gives the board maximum protection against mould/mildew, stains, fading, cracking, cupping and swelling. Capping 360 degrees provides complete protection all around the board and protects it from UV, water, insects and any other mould/mildew from attacking the core.

UltraShield is a capped composite, which means it has an advanced premium shield encasing ALL four sides around its inner core. The shield and core are extruded together under a very high temperature mould simultaneously, so there are no adhesives or chemicals that are harmful to the environment.

The core is made from carefully selected recycled material and highly dense recycled hardwood and softwood fibre that allow for greater strength and durability and best of all it’s 100% recyclable.

• Ultrashield Naturale
• • A high performance, eco friendly decking that will not splinter or crack due to its protective shield. Perfect for bare feet, small kids and pets etc. These are reversible boards with a grained wood effect on one side and a smooth finish on the other
  • These boards are 138mm wide x 23mm deep x 3.6m long. Each board gives a coverage of 0.512m2 (1m2 is 1.95 boards)
• Ultrashield Naturale wide boards
  • The same great properties as the standard Naturale option but with the added perception of an expansive deck. Again these are reversible boards with a grained wood effect on one side and a smooth finish on the other
  • These wider boards are 210mm wide x 23mm deep x 3.6m long. Each board gives a coverage of 0.774m2 (1m2 is 1.29 boards)
• Ultrashield Textured
  • These textured boards have a defined grain on one side which gives a real wood effect while the reverse side is smooth. You can use either side in entirety or mix and match them as a contrasting feature.
  • The Textured boards are 138mm wide x 23mm deep x 3.6m long. Each board gives a coverage of 0.512m2 (1m2 is 1.95 boards)

Portland range information:

The Portland range is a premium composite decking. This range is built to offer the perfect combination of durability, longevity, and style, ensuring
your outdoor space looks stunning for years to come. Whether you are looking for a natural wood like appearance or a bold statement, our Portland Range has got you covered.

This range is made using 60% recycled wood, 30% high density polyethylene and 10% additives. It has been designed and manufactured to meet exceptionally high standards for outdoor living. It is durable and long lasting while being attractive and comfortable to touch – even in bare feet.

Portland range information:

• Portland Montana
  • These are a hollow construction board and are reversible so you can choose between either the smooth side or the grooved side
  • Portland Montana boards are 135mm x 25mm x 3.6m. Each board gives a coverage of 0.508m2 (1m2 is 1.97 boards)
• Portland Arizona
  • These are reversible board so you can choose between a ribbed or grooved surface
  • Portland Arizona boards are 146mm x 23mm x 3.6m. Each board gives a coverage of 0.544m2 (1m2 is 1.84 boards)
• Portland Nevada
  • These are reversible boards so you can choose the grooved side or the sleek and smooth side
  • Portland Nevada boards are 140mm x 25mm x 3.6m. Each board gives a coverage of 0.522m2 (1m2 is 1.92 boards)

• We typically deliver these boards using our own fleet of trucks in our vicinity around Sligo and surrounding counties but if we use a third party delivery company to deliver to you then you need to assist with unloading or have access to the likes of a teleporter to unload these boards – just call us on 0818 888 000 if you have any questions at all and we will help in every way needed.

Installation instructions:

Installation is simple using a handy clip system that creates a smooth and even look to the deck. This system also means that you do not have to use unsightly screws or nails and the board spacing is already worked out.
