Cromapol Roof Sealant is a high-performance, fibre-reinforced liquid acrylic resin designed to deliver instant waterproofing with just a single coat.

Dispersed in solvent, Cromapol is engineered to prevent water ingress by bridging small gaps and forming a fully flexible, seamless membrane.

Its excellent adhesion ensures long-lasting protection across a wide range of surfaces, including flat and pitched roofs, roof lights, flashings, gutters, fibre cement sheeting, slate, lead, metal, and primed roofing felt.

Cromapol is available in Mid Grey, White, and Black.

The product resists wash-off, provides excellent solar reflectivity in white and grey finishes, and is economical, making it a trusted choice for both emergency repairs and long-term roof maintenance.

FAQ's

Can Cromapol be applied in wet conditions?

Cromapol is rain-resistant shortly after application, but for best results, it should be applied to a dry surface to ensure maximum adhesion and durability.

Do I need a primer before applying Cromapol?

Most surfaces do not require a primer.

However, highly porous or dusty surfaces like roofing felt may benefit from priming to improve adhesion.

How long does Cromapol take to dry?

Drying time depends on conditions, but typically it becomes touch dry within 6–12 hours and fully cures within 24–48 hours.

Avoid foot traffic until fully cured.

Can Cromapol be used to repair large cracks or holes?

While Cromapol can bridge small gaps thanks to its fibre reinforcement, larger cracks or holes should be repaired or reinforced with suitable materials before application.

What surfaces can Cromapol be used on?

Cromapol is suitable for a wide variety of surfaces, including flat and pitched roofs, roof lights, flashings, gutters, fibre cement sheeting, slate, asphalt, lead, metal, and primed roofing felt.
