Product Description
Maximising the efficiency and safety of your pellet stove, these flue pipes are specifically designed for high-pressure systems, ensuring superior performance where it matters most.
The use of gaskets (not included) allows the pipes to handle high-pressure combustion, which is crucial for pellet stoves with fans.
With unmatched durability, these pipes resist the harshest conditions, including the extreme heat and by-products of combustion, safeguarding your home and extending the life of your stove system.
The pipes’ resistance to corrosion and soot-fire further enhances their safety credentials.
Even in the event of a fire within the pipe, the system remains intact, ensuring peace of mind.
The high-temperature enamel coating not only protects the pipe but also adds a sleek, matt-black finish, blending seamlessly with your pellet stove setup.
Features:
- High-pressure rated (P1 Class): Designed specifically for pellet stoves with fans, achieving the P1 rating due to the included gaskets.
- 1.2 mm carbon steel construction: Laser-welded for a seamless finish, providing robustness and precision in manufacturing.
- Vitreous enamel coating: Baked at 850°C, this internal and external enamel layer ensures high resistance against corrosion caused by combustion condensate.
- Heat resistance: The total 1.2 mm thickness, combining steel and enamel, offers excellent resistance to extreme conditions, such as soot-fire.
- Gasket requirement: The P1 pressure class and T250 temperature rating are achieved with the use of silicone gaskets (not included), ensuring airtight integrity.
- Chimney plate: Includes a chimney plate for essential installation information, helping to comply with safety regulations and keeping important details in an easily accessible location.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Why do pellet stoves need a high-pressure flue pipe?
Pellet stoves incorporate fans that create higher pressure in the combustion circuit. These flue pipes are designed to withstand such pressure to ensure safe and efficient operation.
What material are these flue pipes made from?
These flue pipes are constructed from 1.2mm laser-welded carbon steel, with a vitreous enamel coating baked at 850°C. This provides excellent resistance to corrosion, heat, and combustion by-products.
How do I know if my flue pipe needs replacing after a soot-fire?
While the pipes themselves are designed to resist damage from soot-fire, the gaskets should be checked for deterioration and replaced if necessary.
What does the chimney plate provide?
The chimney plate includes key installation details such as the supplier, installer name, and distance to combustibles. It should be placed in an easily accessible location for future reference.
What is the temperature rating of these flue pipes?
With silicone gaskets (not included), the pipes are rated at T250, meaning they can withstand temperatures up to 250°C.
Can these flue pipes be used for other types of stoves?
These pipes are specifically designed for pellet stoves due to the pressure class required, but always consult with a professional installer to ensure compatibility with other stove types.
What does P1 Class mean in flue pipes?
P1 Class refers to the pressure rating of the flue pipe, which indicates that the pipe can safely withstand internal pressures up to 200 Pascals (Pa). This makes it ideal for pellet stoves, which use fans to create high-pressure combustion systems.
